Since this site is an extension of West Wind Saints I would've liked to go back to the beginning and show  dogs that were raised here but that would mean going back to the 90's and many I have no pics for and when I sold a pup I did not get pictures like I do now.   So  I  did go back about 10 years and tried to find pics that included many pups that came from here,  most owners used to send pictures and keep in touch so I am still searching thru those.
Also wish to include a few rehomed dogs;  I have sold many pups over 20 years and I am pretty lucky that most have always been to forever homes;   I have been trying to count the ones to rehome and AS FAR AS I KNOW there have been 7,  which isn't much for twenty years , there may be more that I don't know of if the people did'nt get in touch with me to rehome them; but it  is in puppy contract that I will do what I can to rehome any dog that I put out there,  sometimes it just doesn't work out with  the first family.  Let me state here that I do not judge why, I want to commend the owners for realizing that their decision to own a saint, may not have been the best for them.  I don't print names and caught fack because I referred to owners as "just people" but there is no blame or intent to embarrass someone so no names are best.  My concern is for the dog to live a good life.  Whatever the reasons for giving up a dog, I believe every  dog deserves a forever home and I will do what I can to make sure that happens.  Most times if the dog needs a new family its better than the first time only because it truly is their forever home.; so it works out for everyone.
   Here are a few....
This is King, first owner called him Teddy, it was too overwhelming to try and raise a puppy in busy chicago so he was rehomed in 2014,and now lives in detroit area with a family that had their previous dog pass away, so he filled the void, he is much loved and spoiled and will live out his life in luxury

This is Dudley, he came back here from Indiana, owners asked me to rehome him since he was not dealing well with a lot of  their travels,  I did not try too hard to place him and hes still here 6 years later, I love him too much to let him go, hes an amazing dog
This is Quigley, he was sold here in Michigan in 2013, his owner asked me to rehome him when living situation changed and with too many people moving in, a 200 lb dog was too much, I found him a great home with family that bought his sister.  He is much loved and has acres to run on, he will be loved and spoiled for the rest of his life, his family can't imagine life without him
This is Lucy, she was sold here in Michigan in 2017 but when owner developed health problems she was rehomed to a family in Georgia that had bought a pup from me about 12 years ago .  She will be loved and spoiled for many years and have other dogs to play with too
This big girl was not a success story, she was sold as a puppy to a family with two little girls, they named her cookie and she grew up with the kids and had a good life;after a few years they contacted me to rehome her because with everyones busy schedules the dog was alone about 12 hours a day so they thought she should be with someone that would give her more time;   I found her a new home, not sure what happened but eventually I got a call from animal control, several counties away, my info came up in their system because dog was microchipped, they told me someone found her on the side of the road and brought her in so she wouldn't get hit by a car, No one came to claim her, was she dumped on the road ??  I immediately went and got her,  tried to see if I could get her another home, I placed her with a wonderful family that had bought a saint from me several years before,  We thought she settled in ok but then started attacking the other dogs in the household, over time the attacks were more violent and more frequent.  This family loved her and tried to give her every chance but not knowing what had happened to her,all the love they gave  couldn't get her past her demons

A classic case of a big sweet dog that changed its attitude because she  couldn't understand why the family she loved for several years didn't want her and she was trying to fit in at other places but wasn't sure how, so she was "acting out "
Although I can always report happy endings--I am going to list this one because she was my failure,  I should have done more...
